Olha Petkova is a Semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2024. She is studying for her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Technology - Womenswear from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

redress Design Award Collection

Olha’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Armour Suit’, draws inspiration from the protection offered both by traditional armour throughout history, and by corporate suits. The collection upcycles natural materials like cotton sampling yardage and wool end-of-rolls, with wooden buttons for trims, to create timeless and recyclable pieces. The classic styles and colours, plus the high-quality fabrics, encourage longevity with the tailor-made garments designed to be worn often and presenting a clean appearance.
