Karen Jessen embodies "Sustainability & Style"
EcoChic Design Award 2013 1st Prize Winner, Karen Jessen was one of four German designers to present exclusively created designs at "Sustainability & Style" during Berlin Fashion Week 2016. Hosted by the U.S. Embassy Berlin in June 2016, together with VOGUE Germany and the Fashion Council Germany, the event aimed to highlight the themes of up-cycling and sustainability in the fashion industry. Representing her brand Benu Berlin, Karen up-cycled denim provided by Calvin Klein Jeans, G-STAR RAW, Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger to create her stunning collection.
