Michelle Bang CEO of B Y T and Board Member of Redress Michelle Bang is a fashion and business expert who is CEO of B Y T, the exciting new up-cycled fashion brand that the winner will join so as to continue the Redress mission to reduce waste in the fashion and textile industry. Michelle has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Economics from Wellesley College. Her early career was in corporate development and investment banking for global firms. Following her shift to fashion, Michelle worked on advisory work at Theory and multiple fashion startups, and she held successful positions as a fashion merchandiser for the likes of Lane Crawford, Bergdorf Goodman and Harvey Nichols HK. Previously Michelle was the Chief Operating Officer of Redress and she now serves as Board Member of Redress, as well as sitting on the Harvard Business School Nonprofit Scholarship Committee of Hong Kong.

Orsola de Castro Fashion Designer,  Co-founder of Estethica and Co-founder of Fashion Revolution Orsola de Castro is a fashion designer and campaigner. She founded the luxury up-cycling label, From Somewhere in 1997 and has since created up-cycled collections for the niche and mass markets, including Speedo, Tesco and Topshop. She co-founded Estethica, the international showcasing platform for sustainable brands, at London Fashion Week in 2006. In 2013, she co-founded Fashion Revolution, the global coalition of academics, designers, organisations and key opinion formers who are demanding increased transparency in the fashion value chain. Orsola de Castro

Orsola de Castro is a fashion designer and campaigner. She founded the luxury up-cycling label, From Somewhere in 1997 and has since created up-cycled collections for the niche and mass markets, including Speedo, Tesco and Topshop. Anderson Lee Chairman, Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium (SFBC) Anderson Lee is a highly respected apparel technical expert and a leader in promoting sustainable business practices, particularly through his position as Chairman of The Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium. Amongst his many accolades, he is also a Convenor in the Fashion Industry Development Committee of the HKSAR; board member for the Sustainable Apparel Coalition; a steering member of the Global Recycle Standard; and a distinguished speaker at many global events. He is also the Business Director of the Hong Kong Non-Woven Group, which is renowned for innovation and sustainable production practices.

Reet Aus PhD, Designer and Researcher Reet Aus is an award-winning fashion designer and researcher. She started her fashion design career in 1997 and has since enjoyed successful appearances at various international fashion shows. Since 2002, Reet has created up-cycled collections that won her numerous awards for her innovation, including being recognised as one of the Top 20 Women in Business by the Nordic Business Report in 2015.  Her PhD doctoral thesis in up-cycling in the fashion industry and in mass production led her to create Trash to Trend, the community platform for up-cycling designers. Additionally, Reet and her team have developed the UPMADE® system. This system provides a profitable solution to the problem of textile leftovers by making the most of all materials, creating additional environmentally responsible products, reducing waste handling costs, and saving water and energy. Reet is a Senior Researcher at the Estonian Academy of Arts and an active costume designer for theatre and film.

Christopher’s pioneering work has brought sustainable design to a mainstream fashion audience and presents a new definition of luxury with integrity. He is the winner of many prestigious awards, including the 2011 British Fashion Award for Emerging Talent Menswear, the 2014 Menswear Brand of the Year at the UK Fashion and Textiles Awards and the 2015 Best Emerging Designer at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
